CAWH Trustees








 
CAWH has a Board of Trustees including a Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary.

Trustees provide general advice and practical expertise in a number of different areas including marketing and financial management of the affairs and assets of the Charity, to assist in achieving the overall goals of the Charity. 

Trustees are both directors of the Charity for the purposes of the Act, and charity trustees for the purposes of the Charities Act, 1993. 

Virginia Berridge, Chair has lived in West Hampstead on and off for over 50 years, having come as a student. She has been a trustee for 4 years, and for some years previously. Before becoming Chair in November 2024, she was vice chair, organising the monthly programme of events, and chairing the Finance and General Purpose Committee.  As Professor of History and Health Policy in University of London she gained experience of strategy  development, and of staff and grant management.
Pranay Hariharan, Treasurer moved to the UK in 2016 and has been a resident of West Hampstead ever since. For the last 4 years he has been a trustee and was elected Treasurer in 2021 given his diverse background in finance and strategy. He co-founded the West Hampstead Community Food Hub which won a UK Parliamentary award, and also set up one of the most active Covid Mutual Aid Groups in West Hampstead. Pranay co-chairs the Finance and General Purpose Committee.
Stephen Fowler, Secretary has lived in West Hampstead since 2014 and has been a trustee since 2022. He has over 30 years experience as a solicitor both in City firms and Borough Market. He is a regular volunteer with two local food banks and a cooking charity and has been working on updating the Association’s policies and procedures as well as helping out with events. 
Timiko Cranwell has lived in West Hampstead for 13 years and was elected a trustee in November 2024. She is working on marketing, website and events having led many far reaching social impact campaigns for international brands. She is now working as a corporate commercial lawyer and Board Advisor.
Susan Eisenbach has lived in West Hampstead for 47 years, was elected a trustee in November 2024 and is on the Finance and General Purpose Committee. As an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at Imperial College she enjoys playing with new tech and hopes to update CAWH's technical provision.
Vera Goossens-Kennedy has lived in West Hampstead for 30 years and was elected a trustee in November 2024. She has been a long time CAWH volunteer and has long experience organising social and cultural events. She aims to use and develop previous experience to benefit CAWH's programme of events.

Sharon Hardwick is a Labour councillor for the West Hampstead ward and a resident for over 23 years. She served as CAWH Secretary 2020-22. Her skills lie in logistics, marketing, copywriting, and social media, and her day job is communications manager for CILIP, the library and information association. 
Philip Healey has lived in West Hampstead since XXX. Before then he was a trustee of the Tunbridge Wells Citizens’ Advice Bureau. Philip ran a publishing company, where he got vast experience in marketing and finance along with operation and personnel management. 
Manjot Heer  co-leads the Circle of Soup initiative and is on the Finance and General Purpose Committee.  He has volunteered at the West Hampstead Community Food Hub since 2022. Manjot is an Investment Manager specialising in renewables with a focus on zero-emission vehicles and hydrogen. 
Faith Holland has lived in West Hampstead for 19 years and is chair of the MARA Residents Association. Faith is a Marketing Director working with global brands and is a qualified Executive coach. She has been a trustee since November 2024 and is a member of the Marketing and Events Committee.
Mark O’Hanlan has lived in West Hampstead since 2003. Having been a managing director at Accenture, he plans to use his experience to secure and improve our charitable funding. He has been a trustee since November 2024 and is a member of the Marketing and Events Committee.
Oliver Pearce has lived in West Hampstead since May 2024 and has been a trustee since November 2024. He chairs the Events and Marketing Committee hoping to use his long background in journalism and marketing. He has co-founded two non-profit groups in London focused on young people and journalism.
David Richards is a retired HR Director and International Consultant who has lived in West Hampstead for 45 years and served as a trustee since 2020. He is a former local authority councillor and theatre trustee, chaired the WH Medical Centre’s Patient Participation Group and is in the Camden Patient and Public Engagement Group. He co-organises our Picture Windows Art Trails. 
Miles Seaman is an independent consultant in Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and Environmental Management. He has lived in West Hampstead since 1974 and has in the past supported several local groups in the capacity of Treasurer. Miles is a co-founder of CAWH and was Treasurer of CAWH for several years until 2021.
